Discover the beauty of Korean tradition through a special lantern-making workshop at the Korean Cultural Centre UK.

Yeondeunghoe (Lotus Lantern Festival) is a centuries-old Korean tradition that brings people together through light, hope and a spirit of community. Recognised by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2020, the festival celebrates the sharing of light and wishes for peace and happiness.

In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn about the history and cultural significance of Yeondeunghoe before creating their own traditional Korean lantern with guidance from experienced instructors.

Join us for an evening of creativity and Korean tradition, and take home a lantern made by you!
