The Korean Cultural Centre UK (KCCUK) serves many roles: it is not only a place where the Republic of Korea and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland are connected through culture, but it is also a hub for cultural exchange – where guests can deepen their understanding of one another and build meaningful connections.

Today, Korean culture is engaging audiences around the world through music, film, dramas, literature, visual arts, cuisine, and of course the Korean language. Yet we believe that the true value of culture lies not simply in introducing it to others, but in sharing experiences and perspectives that inspire new understanding and create lasting meaning.

The United Kingdom has long been at the forefront of global culture and the arts, drawing on its rich history and traditions. It is also a society shaped by a wide range of cultures and perspectives, and one that values creativity and critical thinking. Within this vibrant cultural environment, the KCCUK is committed to fostering a deeper appreciation and understanding of Korean culture.

To ensure that interest in Korean culture extends beyond particular genres or generations and reaches all parts of British society, we will continue to develop an expansive programme spanning the arts, literature, Korean language, traditional culture, and digital content to name just a few. We are also committed to expanding cultural exchange initiatives that encourage active participation and leadership from younger generations.

It is our hope that the KCCUK can further strengthen its role as a trusted partner within the UK's cultural and creative landscape, while continuing to be a leading hub for cultural diplomacy between Korea and the United Kingdom.
